About JIM HUNT

Jim Hunt joined The Purple Edge in March 2010 from BT where in a 23 year career he held a number of senior management positions in product and portfolio management. He has an MBA from Henley School of Management and a Diploma in Marketing, but more importantly a track record of delivering financial and operational improvements in both product and service portfolios.  His marketing and management experience spans developing and launching services, project management, pricing, geographic expansion, product withdrawal, marketing and supplier selection and management.

Jim aims to bring thinking and rigour from the corporate sector that is appropriate to smaller businesses. He is a skilled communicator and team builder who is can think strategically and act tactically.   

Jim is married with four children and in the free time he manages to find he works with Young Enterprise to develop business skills in local schools.   He also plays guitar in a band composed of like-minded old rockers and enjoys golf when the sun is shining.

In BT Jim led teams delivering global services to multinationals, national services to consumers and specific customer solutions. He has launched new services nationally and globally, turned around failing products, grown revenues and reduced costs to deliver more profitable businesses across a range of services.
