Summary of activity
"We engaged Sharon initially because we recognised that times are changing and we needed to be attracting more business from the internet rather than relying on agents to direct new tenants to us. From the outset Sharon made it clear that we should not see the website or internet as a standalone element of the business, but needed to address the branding and reputation development within the community at the same time as improving our visibility online. So this has not been a project about a new website or search optimisation, it has been focused directly around the objective of generating new enquiries for space on our business parks and so has addressed issues of how we capture and manage enquiries and creating PR coverage in the local papers.
"To this end it has been very successful, the results from inquiries leading to a completion of lettings has shown a marked increase during the past twelve months, not withstanding the down turn in the economy.
"We have moved from having several lightly linked websites to one strong site, under the single brand of Stour Valley Estates yet clearly featuring our individual business parks. For all of the important search terms we consistently rank in the top half of page 1 of Google and visitor traffic to the website is growing steadily, along with enquiries for space on the parks – even in a difficult economic climate. Visitors have commented on how easy they have found the site to use.
